Are there any limits on the log file sizes that FlashStats can analyze?
FlashStats does not have any inherent limitations on log file sizes; the only limitation is the amount of available RAM in your system.
FlashStats is targeted to small- to medium-sized sites. We have tested FlashStats on over 100MB of log file (separate files totalling over 100MB, not one large file).
For optimal performance, log files should be rotated on a regular basis so that no individual log file grows too large.
Please note that the Macintosh version of FlashStats version 1.3.1 does seem to have a problem with log files greater than about 30MB. Please see Tech Note FS1308 for full details.
