  TiViTunes is a utility which
will publish (export) your iTunes playlists so that TiVo can play them.
If you have your TiVo connected to your home wireless (or wired) network, you probably
already know that TiVo can stream and play your MP3 files. Just point the TiVo
Desktop software at your main music folder. But there's only one problem: if you're
using iTunes on your PC, TiVo will not be able to see your iTunes playlists! (iTunes stores
its playlists in an internal format that TiVo Desktop cannot read.)
TiViTunes solves this problem by exporting your iTunes playlists to a folder on
your Windows computer so that TiVo can play them!
TiViTunes is very easy to use. Just select the destination folder, then select
the iTunes playlists to be exported, and hit the Publish Playlists to iTunes button.
That's all it takes! (Quick and easy documentation is also
available.) Playlists are published in m3u format.
Here's a screenshot of the main window (it has been cropped to fit within
  most browser windows):

  System Requirements

TiViTunes has the following system requirements:

  - Windows ME (or any later version)
- iTunes version 7.7.1 or later (Windows)
- TiVo Desktop 2.4a (or later)
- TiVo Series 2 or later (with Home Media Option)
TiViTunes does not require an iPod, iPhone, or Apple TV.
TiViTunes will only include songs in a playlist if your TiVo will be able to play them.
By default, TiVo only plays songs in MP3 format. However, if you also run the free
  Universal Audio Plug-in, then
your TiVo will also be able to play non-protected songs in WAV, AAC (M4A / M4B), WMA, OGG,
or other DirectShow-compatible formats (eg, APE, FLAC, SHN).
If you have songs in formats other than MP3 and do not wish to use the Universal Audio Plug-in for some reason, then you
will have to convert your songs to MP3 format in order for TiVo to be able to play them.

   Register TiViTunes for only $5.00

Please be aware that until you have registered your copy of TiViTunes, it will only
publish the first 5 songs in each playlist.

You only need to register your copy of TiViTunes once - all future versions of TiViTunes
are free to registered users. Try out TiViTunes to see if you like it. If you find our
 Windows utility useful, please
register your copy of TiViTunes to be able to
run it without the five song limitation.
   Other iTunes Utilities

Be sure to check out our two other iTunes software utilities:

  - iCoverArt embeds album cover
art into songs. Album artwork will be displayed within iTunes, on any iPod with a color
screen, in some iTunes visualizations, and can be printed by iTunes for use in a jewel
  case.
- Scripts for iTunes
is a free collection of scripts that can be used to control iTunes. You can use them from
the command line, in a batch (command) file, or you can assign them to the special controls
keys on a multimedia keyboard (such as "Play", "Next", or "Previous").
Download TiViTunes

  Download TiViTunes.msi and
either open it directly to install and run it, or save it to disk and then install it.
TiViTunes can be easily uninstalled via the Control Panel.
