Other Mail Clients

Other mail clients can be similarly configured to access your Outlook Mail using the settings as above. The elements required are similar across mail clients, but may be implemented or referenced differently.

The important and commonly requested setup elements to consider are:
  • The user or login name and the password (or APOP secret) will be that which you established in GoPOP.
  • The incoming mail server or POP3 server will be your computer's IP address.
  • The outgoing mail server or SMTP server will be either the same as that configured in Outlook on your primary computer, or can be different if you desire (you can use the outgoing server designated by the mail client on the remote device).
