FlashStats

Support: Tech Notes

Tech note FS1433

Description
Can the accesslog= parameter use wildcards?

Answer
Yes.

The normal way to use FlashStats is to set the logs= parameter to point to the set of old (archived) log files, and point accesslog= to the current log file. However, each parameter can accept wildcard parameters so you can use them however you desire. If you are only going to use one of them, then you should use the logs= parameter (since this parameter is always required).

Versions of FlashStats prior to 1.4 did not let you use wildcards in the accesslog= parameter.
